A LOOK BACK - ISAAC
1928-1998
My grandfather escaped Poland right before WW2. He left behind his whole family, except his wife, his daughter, and one sister.
In this picture, my then 92 years old zeide, is mixed with the memory of his beloved, young Polish siblings who died in the war: Pola Barnbad, Bella Barnbad, and Iona Barnbad.
My zeide showed me that life always wins, through his 25 descendants (2 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and counting) and a life lived proudly, impacting others until his last minutes.
